When performing in a competition, it is always good to start a routine with a bang to grab the attention of the judges and the crowd. Here UMD starts off with jumping, tumbling, and an abundance of energy. The opening sets the tone for the rest of the routine, so it is good idea to fill it with lots of excitement. The Corsairs continue with the excitement by hitting three heel stretches.
