Corsairs Win Big at Camp

Senior All-American Captain Christie Cardoza has a hand full of trophies after the Corsairs won numerous awards at the 1998 NCA College Summer Camp. UMass finished first in their division in the Fight Song competition and finished second in the entire camp in the Spirit Routine competiton. The squad was also awarded a bid to the 1999 NCA College National Cheerleading Competiton. Cardoza and Freshman Melissa Thurber were honored as All-Americans, and Scott Bouchard was named "Top Gun" Jumper.
