Anthropology Minor

You can declare a minor in Anthropology through the Academic Advising Center.

Students may minor in Anthropology by completing 15 hours with a grade of C or better (no S/U grades are accepted). A minimum of 9 hours must be taken at the university, 6-7 hours must be chosen from the below courses, and at least 9 hours must be at the 3000 level or above. ANT 4905, 4907, and 4914 are not accepted for credit for the minor.

Required (Two of the Following):

  • ANT 2410 Cultural Anthropology (3 hours)
  • ANT 2140 Introduction to World Archaeology (3 hours)
  • ANT 3620 Language and Culture (3 hours)
  • ANT 3514C Introduction to Biological Anthropology (4 hours)
