Support the UF Department of Anthropology

Anthropology is a diverse and important discipline, with many subfields and interdisciplinary outlets that empower students with a higher understanding of a globalized world, vital skills of critical and integrative thinking, and a holistic philosophy. Anthropologists have jobs and contribute to knowledge and progress in such essential fields as education, social activism, diplomacy, preservation, philanthropy, medicine, forensics, law, and politics.
The Anthropology Department depends on gifts to fund student travel to meetings, undergraduate and graduate scholarships, dissertation and field school awards, lecture series, laboratory enhancements, and other initiatives. See a list of Anthropology Endowments and Funds.
We appreciate all levels of financial support. It’s easy to make your tax-deductible gift in support of Anthropology through the University of Florida Foundation. These funds are used to support UF Foundation scholarships for the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences. Donate online to the Friends of Anthropology Fund (code 000393).
UF employees can donate to any Anthropology fund through payroll deduction. Use the payroll deduction form. Please complete the form and turn it into the Department of Anthropology or to the University of Florida Foundation.
Checks are also welcome. Please make your check payable to the fund to which you wish to contribute, and send it to:
