The Center for European Studies’ Magazine

About:

Wanderlust. is the Center’s in-house magazine that highlights recent Center events, accomplishments of European Studies faculty and graduate students, travel pieces written by graduate students and the Center’s interns and other Europe-related pieces for our Gainesville and global audiences.

We chose the name Wanderlust. to represent the desire to travel and immerse ourselves in different cultures, societies and languages that bring us all together.

Center staff Lisa Booth, Alice Freifeld, Greg Mason and Kokila Mendis edited the magazine, contributed pieces and provided the overall structure and mission behind the publication.

This volume includes interviews with:

  • Mathematics and Physics Professor Sergei Shabanov
  • Emeritus Professor in History Geoffrey Giles
  • Soil Science Doctoral Candidate Anna Normand
