New Spring 2014 LIS2001 course offers to teach students skills they can use in every class they take at UF.

Starting in the Spring 2014, the Dial Center and the UF Library system will be offering a new course LIS2001 — Introduction to Information Resources. Students can register for both online and face-to-face, live sections through ISIS when they register for the Spring 2014 semester.

Sections of LIS2001 are taught by UF faculty librarians.  In the one-credit LIS2001 course, students will learn how to conduct solid, reliable library research that will help them in every class they take at UF.  They will learn critical thinking skills needed to find, evaluate, and use relevant scholarly resources in a variety of disciplines.

Spring 2014 sections will be 043C, 043D, 043E and 043G.
