Application Process

Applications for the 2018-2019 Ambassador Leadership Program will be available November 2017.

The application process for the Dial Center Ambassador Leadership Program consists of two parts:

  • Part I – Fill out the application (see below). An Ambassador or Ambassador Advisor will contact you.
  • Part II – Interviews are conducted in the spring semester (typically in February and March). The interview process is extensive and requires each candidate to engage in multiple interactions with other candidates, current Ambassadors and the Advisors.

IMPORTANT NOTES:

  1. Applicant eligibility requirements: Communication Studies Minors with a minimum 3.0 GPA.
  2. The required Ambassador Leadership class meets for two hours per week during the fall and spring semesters.
  3. Ambassadors earn a total of 3 credit hours for completion of the two-year program, as follows: 2 credit hours in Year One and 1 credit hour at the end of Year Two. These credit hours appear as SPC4905 and count toward the Communication Studies Minor.

For more information about the program and its requirements, please see the Ambassador Program page or contact any of our current Ambassadors or Advisors.

What is this view?

You are using a dynamic assistive view of the University of Florida site. It has all the same data and features of the original site but formatted just with assistive users in mind. It has links and content reorganized to aid assistive users and has controls at the bottom under assistive options that allow you to control key aspects such as font size and contrast colors etc.
This is not a separate text-only site, it's a dynamic view that uses unique technology from Usablenet to give assistive users better, more accessible access to the same content and features as all users that use the graphic view of the site.
