Buildings on Campus

On the right as you enter campus is the main academic and administration building.  Constructed in 1974, it contains classrooms, science labs, computer labs, a library, bookstore, student center, lecture hall and faculty and administrative offices.  The majority of classes are held in the main building and most students will spend the majority of their time on campus here.

The Workforce Development Building, on the left when coming onto campus, opened in January 2009 and houses Workforce Development Services, including occupational-technical programs, allied health programs, industrial technology programs and employer training programs. The building has classrooms and computer labs, as well as a large open atrium decorated with local artists’ work and the Great Hall, which can be configured for any type of meeting or business or social function.

The GED Building, known more commonly on campus as “the white building”, is located behind the main building and is home to the Adult Education and GED programs of the college.  In mid-2013, the Eastern Shore Literacy Council also moved into the building, allowing for a smoother transition for literacy students into adult education programs.

The campus also has a volleyball court, basketball court, numerous large grassy areas, and a large shaded patio outside the student center where students can  play a quick game or relax.
