* Graduate tuition (projected) is based on 24 credits per year of 5000-9999 level courses. This charge does not include the materials and supply fee (if applicable) and any late registration or late payment fees. The application fee for applying to the UF Graduate School is $30.00. There is no additional application fee for the FSHN MS-DI program.

** Off-campus housing estimates are based on an individual’s costs for rental of a 2-bedroom apartment; electric and cable averages are included. Rental costs are based on an average of rates quoted by local apartments. The estimated annual food cost is based on costs of meals ($5,800) established by the US Department of Labor.

*** The cost of the plans is based on age. The figures shown represent the cost per year for students under 25 years. The cost for students 25 years of age and older is $2,593 per year. The plan is offered to UF students thorugh United Healthcare Student Resources. This plan is designed for Domestic Students, Unsupported Graduate Students, Post Doc Students and International Students. This plan provides benefits for 80% of the Usual & Customary Charges incurred for loss due to covered Injury or Sickness (if a preferred provider is used; 70% for an out of network provider) up to the Maximum Benefit of $500,000 per policy year. Students must use the services of Student Health Care Center (SHCC) first where treatment will be administered or a referral issued. Expenses incurred outside of the SHCC for which no prior approval or referral is obtained are excluded from coverage. Students do not need to purchase a policy from United Healthcare, however, they must provide proof of health insurance for the duration of their program of study.
