Making Visible Progress (MVP)

Making Visible Progress, MVP, is a student organization founded by a combination of AIM students, first-generation students, OAS Peer Mentors, and OAS Staff in 2012 to develop student’s leadership capabilities at the University of Florida. MVP provides academic, professional and general advising to its members and the UF student body. MVP also ensures that UF students understand and experience the benefits of maintaining a balance between social and academic lifestyles at the University of Florida.

mvp-tabling MVP seeks to accomplish this through organization discussions, workshops, guest speakers, leadership conferences, service learning experiences, social events and much more throughout the academic year. MVP members will receive priority at all sponsored events and socials, however, all will be open to the UF and Gainesville community. Meetings are held bi-weekly and open to the public unless stated otherwise. The MVP organization allows students to develop as individuals and also learn to function effectively within a team atmosphere. All UF students are welcome to become a part of Making Visible Progress (MVP).
