Eugene’s specific interests are in the thermal properties of materials and phonon behavior.  I’m currently exploring the relationship that defects in crystalline solids have on phonon behavior with the specific application being predicting change in Raman spectra given defects in nuclear fuels.

Eugene is also interested in uncertainty quantification in multiscale simulation
