High School Bike’n’Ped for Driver Ed curriculum

The purpose of the Bike ‘N Ped for Driver Ed curriculum is to increase awareness among motorists about laws regarding bicyclists and pedestrians. In addition, motorists will learn how to properly share the road with both bicyclists and pedestrians.

As part of the Florida Traffic and Bicycle Safety Education Program curriculum, this unit is presented to enhance Driver Education Curriculum materials in the area of bicyclist and pedestrian laws and safer sharing of the road. The activities included in this unit can be easily used in the classroom setting, as supplementary homework assignments, and/or as quizzes for driver education students of any age.
