Caring for patients at Shands at UF, the Malcom Randall VA Medical Center, and Shands' outpatient surgery centers, UF surgeons are part of a multidisciplinary health-care team who collaborate to offer individualized patient care and the latest therapies. UF surgeons and scientists conduct research to improve surgical outcomes, advance treatments and expand knowledge about disease processes. They also train the surgical leaders of tomorrow.
