“Higher education has an ethical imperative to provide the foundation of a sustainable civilization. Universities must transform themselves into institutions organized around trans-disciplinary programs grounded in ecological and sustainability literacy. Re-framing higher education to meet the challenges of accelerating disruptions will require a revolution in the purposes and structures of the university. Teaching, learning, scholarship, and research for sustainability must become the highest priorities of the university. Collectively, faculty have much of the power to implement these reforms.” Join the conversation with Stephen Mulkey. Free and open to the public, you can learn more here.
