Welcome to Thoracic & Cardiovascular Surgery
UF thoracic and cardiovascular surgeons provide the latest in surgical care, including advanced, leading-edge and minimally invasive procedures at Shands at UF medical center in Gainesville. They are at the forefront of research initiatives to further improve patient care and quality of life.
In the 2010-2011 edition of America’s Best Hospitals, published by U.S. News & World Report, heart care and heart surgery at Shands at UF ranked the highest among Florida hospitals and 32nd nationwide.
