Bachelor of Science in Recreation, Parks & Tourism

The Department will no longer be offering a specific degree in RPT however, students are encouraged to consider the Tourism, Events and Recreation Management degree (TERM) as an updated alternative. The TERM degree provides coursework focused on specializations in Tourism, Event Management and Recreation Management; greater detail about each program may be found here. Students who are currently enrolled in the RPT program will be able to graduate with this degree.

The Bachelor of Science in Recreation, Parks & Tourism (BS-REC) program prepares students to develop, manage and deliver leisure services to a variety of populations in diverse settings and to become decision makers in private and public organizations while providing a foundation for students to pursue graduate studies.
