The Graduate Program in Historic Preservation is a collaborative effort between Clemson University and the College of Charleston. The program, which is based in Charleston, South Carolina, offers a two-year Masters of Science in Historic Preservation.
Areas of Study:
The Graduate Program utilizes Charleston and the lowcountry as a preservation laboratory for hands-on research and projects. We are seeking a small and selective group of interdisciplinary graduate students interested in building national careers in historic preservation.
The Graduate Program works in close collaboration with a number of Charleston-based initiatives including the sites and collections of the Historic Charleston Foundation, the Preservation Society of Charleston, the Charleston Museum, the American College of the Building Arts, and Drayton Hall, a National Trust site.
