Tuition and Cost of Living
MRED tuition costs are substantially different from the University’s general cost structure. The cost of study and the cost of living make Clemson University one of the most reasonable options for graduate students anywhere in the country.
(in-state and out-of-state)
$27,500 per year.
- Tuition is the same in the second year as in the entering year. This includes tuition for the Minimester tour class and the summer internship. The Minimester class requires an additional $500 for travel expenses, including most meals.
- No graduate assistantships or related tuition reduction is available for this program. Appropriate calculator, laptop, books, and other educational and living costs are additional, including student health insurance*. *Domestic students enrolled on a Greenville campus are not required by Clemson University to have health insurance by the university, and are not charged for student insurance with tuition and fees. International students are required to have health insurance and can submit a waiver if a student has an alternate health insurance policy that meets university requirements. See all student insurance requirements at Redfern Health Center.
- Second-year students may work two days weekly during the academic year at a paid internship with a local real estate entity. The program requires a 10-week summer internship anywhere in the world. Limited fellowships for exceptional students are available.
