Clemson welcomes visits from prospective students and their families. To schedule a student-led tour of the Clemson campus or download the virtual tour, see Clemson's website for Visitors. Please check out the relevant departmental website beforehand for a general overview of programs and offerings.

Architecture
Presentations are offered every Friday at 10 a.m. during the academic year for those interested in applying. Tours usually last about an hour and include an information session with a faculty member, as well as a tour of the studios and other facilities in Lee Hall. Visits may also be scheduled in the summer and between sessions.

The department welcomes visits and offers tours of Hardin Hall, Clemson’s restored, historic classroom building. Please make arrangements in advance.

Landscape Architecture
The department has professional programs and offers degrees at both the undergraduate (BLA) and graduate (MLA) levels. Prospective students and their families are encouraged to arrange a visit to meet with faculty/staff and tour the Lee Hall facilities. Please try to schedule your visit at least a week in advance. Planning, Development and Preservation
The department houses a number of programs that vary in how campus visits are arranged. See below.

  • Students interested in the graduate program in City and Regional Planning should contact the program director, Cliff Ellis, to arrange a visit. Please give at least one week notice so you may be able to meet with faculty and visit relevant classes. Visits are typically held on Tuesdays through Thursdays to accommodate the program’s class schedules, but visits on other days are possible as well.

  • Students interested in the Master of Science in Historic Preservation program should contact program director, Carter Hudgins, or Allisyn Miller, to arrange a visit to the Charleston facilities located on Meeting Street. This is a joint program with Clemson and the College of Charleston. Students take all of their classes at our Charleston facilities.

Please provide at least one to two weeks notice prior to your campus visit so you may be able to meet current students, faculty, and attend class sessions. Visits are typically held Mondays through Thursdays to accommodate the program’s class schedules.
