All students, faculty/staff members, community members, guests and other patrons must conduct themselves properly and respect staff directives while using Department of Campus Recreation Facilities. Participants in all Campus Recreation activities should display high standards of sportsmanship and should cooperate fully with the Campus Recreation staff to ensure safe and successful operations. All users must follow the Department of Campus Recreation policies, obey all Clemson University policies and follow all local, state and federal laws.
Dependants must be at least 15 years old to use the fitness equipment without and adult. Dependants 13-15 years old must be accompanied by an adult. Younger dependants are not allowed to use the fitness equipment. Dependants must be at least 15 years old and good swimmers to use the pool without an adult.
Personal training is prohibited in Fike Recreation Center unless the training services are being conducted through a Fike contracted personal trainer.
Members may bring a guest to the facilities for $3 per entry, per person during the early morning hours of 5:30–11 a.m. (Mon – Fri) or for $6 per entry, per person after 11:00 a.m. (Mon – Sun). This fee may be paid at the Welcome Center Desk located in the front lobby of Fike Recreation Center (limit of two guests per member per entry). Members must accompany their guests at all times. All guests of members must complete a release from liability form and present a valid photo ID in order to purchase a guest pass.
Everyone that utilizes the Department of Campus Recreation Facilities does so at their own risk and is responsible for their own welfare and safety. Anyone injured while utilizing the Department of Campus Recreation Facilities must contact a Student Facility Supervisor at the Welcome Center Desk immediately. The Campus Recreation Staff will attend to these situations and act as a first responder. 911 will be called for vital emergencies and EMS/CUPD will be summoned. Please report all hazardous conditions or injuries to the Facility Supervisor immediately.

The Department of Campus Recreation is not responsible for any lost or stolen items. Feel free to stop by the Welcome Center Desk during normal operating hours to verify if your item has been located. Items will not be kept for more than two weeks. Please contact the Welcome Center Desk if you experience a theft of property and contact CUPD to complete a police report. We have day use lockers that are available on a first come first served basis. When using a day locker at Fike the member need only to bring their own lock. If you do not have your own lock, combination locks are available for purchase at the welcome center. All locks and personal belongings must be removed from day use lockers by closing that day.
The following sports equipment may be checked out at the Welcome Center Desk at the entrance of Fike without charge for students and paid members. All patrons must present their valid Clemson University ID card or membership ID card at the time of check out. All equipment must be returned the same day. All patrons are responsible for the replacement cost of any item(s) damaged, mutilated or lost.

Those who are attending University sponsored, non-credit academic programs may use the University recreation facilities (Fike Recreation Center and the Snow Family Outdoor Fitness and Wellness Center) only when the sponsoring group has made advance arrangements.
