Resources for Internships

There are numerous resources for students to utilize while searching for an internship or researching a potential company of interest. When looking for an internship, students are encouraged to utilize OSE career coaches in addition to other campus, community and international resources. The resources below allow for strategic search options guaranteed to assist any student in need of an internship. For more detailed, one-on-one guidance, consulting a career coach is always best.

Campus Resources

  • ClemsonJobLink  — Database of employers’ job postings, internships opportunities and/or campus visits. Requires CUID and password to login.
  • The Clemson University Career Fair — Fall and spring career fairs hosted by the Michelin Career Center. Career Fairs provide great opportunities for students to visit one-on-one with employers. It’s never too early to start networking! For more information, visit the Career Center website.
  • Cooperative Education — Information about obtaining a co-op position.
  • University Professional Internship/Co-op Program — Clemson has expanded its paid on-campus internship and co-op program to offer more students the opportunity to work closely with Clemson's faculty or administration. Participating students will be given significant work that will help them prepare for their future careers.

Resources for International Internships

  • Cultural Vistas — Job search site that offers information on living and working overseas as well as work visas assistance and placements.
  • Eurojobs— Search engine of positions within the European Union. Includes resume templates as well as search results by sector and country.
  • Go Abroad— Leading international education and experiential travel resource. Directories contain over 12,000 opportunities abroad updated daily including study abroad, internships, volunteer opportunities, teach abroad, language schools and more.
  • Going Global — Includes information on countries employment statistics and major industry.
  • Riley Guide — Job search engine for international employment in specific countries and/or regions of the world.
  • Transitions AbroadTransitions Abroad offers a listing of work permit programs and opportunities. This website also includes articles and links to help prepare students for an international job search.

  • Simply Hired — Vertical search engine company based in Silicon Valley. Search millions of job listings, research salaries, and discover employment trends.
  • Vault — Search internship rankings, view job postings, and gather internship advice.
  • USAJOBS  — Federal government has recently taken great strides to help students and recent graduates find job opportunities.
