The Clemson Canada Center serves as a focal point to provide opportunities for teaching, research and outreach to those interested in the many relationships between Canada and the United States. The center’s mission is to serve as a source of information and a coordinating body for the encouragement of participation in joint U.S.-Canadian research and education projects that will further the relationship between our two countries.

The Networked Vehicle Meets the Grid
CUICAR: Clemson University International Center for Automotive Research
An NVA ( Networked Vehicle Association) executive workshop supplement to the IEEE International Electric Vehicle Conference hosted by CUICAR. This workshop aims to unite Canadian networked vehicle (auto and information and communications technology) sectors with globally-based executives in those sectors. Executives from various companies (such as BMW, VW, GM, Bosch) will meet to unite their perspectives on the applications of information and communication networks on electric vehicles and how they interplay with the electric power systems. To form a strategic linkage for Canada-U.S. cooperation in the development of the next generation of vehicles, a memorandum of understanding will be signed between CUICAR and Stratford, Ontario.
