Center for Visual Arts

CVA Celebration

The Center for Visual Arts Celebration was held on Saturday, April 5, 2014 and thanks to you and our loyal patrons...it was a GREAT success!

There were several unique works of fine art available through silent auctions that featured paintings, sculptures, jewelry, and more from regional and national artists, including many Clemson faculty, students, alumni, and community members.

Proceeds for this fundraiser goes back to our students and supports undergraduate internships, graduate and undergraduate research and residency programs, and student generated curatorial projects.

Why is art important?

The visual arts play a key role in preparing students for today’s fluid workplace.

Through teaching, research and service, the CVA draws upon varied disciplines to examine critical issues and artistic concerns.

Our efforts enhance art programming that enables students to excel in a culture that is becoming increasingly visual.
