Education professor will lecture at African American Male Retreat

CLEMSON – Dr. Lamont A. Flowers, executive director of the Charles H. Houston Center for the Study of the Black Experience in Education at Clemson University, will lecture at a retreat for African American male students sponsored by The Ohio State University’s Todd A. Bell National Resource Center on the African American Male on March 1-3, 2013.

"The lecture, titled Creating a Research Agenda, will highlight strategies to assist graduate students in developing a scholarly framework to guide the production of empirical research," Flowers said.

The Charles H. Houston Center supports the Todd A. Bell National Resource Center on the African American Male’s promotion of self-awareness, academic achievement, and leadership skills among African American males.
