Professional 
Dr. Hadidi joined the Electrical and Computer Engineering Department at Clemson University in January 2012. He received his B.S. degree from K.N.Toosi University of Technology, Tehran, Iran, in 2004 and his M.S. degree from Iran University of Science and Technology, Tehran, Iran, in 2007 both in Electrical Engineering. He then received the Ph.D. Degree in Electrical Engineering from Memorial University of Newfoundland, St. John’s, Newfoundland, Canada in 2012. From 2004 to 2007 he worked as a researcher and engineer in the Research Department of National Iran Broadcasting (IRIB), Tehran, Iran. He received Khwarizmi International Award in 2009.

His current research interests include

  • Steady state and dynamic security assessment and control of power systems.
  • Application of wide area measurements for power system operation and stability enhancement.
  • Application of computational intelligence and multiagent techniques to electric power grid infrastructure enhancement.
  • Single agent and multiagent Reinforcement Learning.
  • Smart grid control including integration and coordination of distributed renewable generation sources within the existing power grid.
