RiSE is a living-learning community for freshmen in the College of Engineering and Science. The RiSE program is designed to ease student’s transition to college by promoting academic success, encouraging professional development, and providing opportunities to become engaged students. RiSE incorporates a number of features seen in other living-learning communities including academic support through tutoring services, clustered courses, and increased opportunities for social interaction. Some of the unique features of this community include the involvement of a Faculty Director and the support of the College of Engineering and Science Academic Advising Center also housed in Lever Hall.
Students who participate in the RiSE program have the opportunity to live with their classmates, and interact with faculty and academic advisors on a daily basis. For more information on how to be a part of this exciting program please visit the RiSE web page.
