Quality Assurance

University Facilities is committed to providing quality service to the campus at a competitive cost. We invite and encourage your questions, comments and concerns relating to the work of our staff, or any contractors working on our behalf.

Customer Concerns

All questions of cost or quality should be directed to Tony Cantrell, University Facilities Quality Assurance Manager (#656-0224).  If you would like to request a Quality Assurance Review, you may submit an one via our online request form. As the concerns and questions are addressed, the customer will be notified that Quality Assurance is researching the problem.

In order to understand a concern, pertinent work orders will be reviewed and a summary of all charges will be discussed with the customer. Quality Assurance will go on-site, if necessary, to review the work performed, and meet with all shops involved to be sure all materials and labor charged to the job are correct. The findings will then be shared with the customer and shop supervisor.

Concerns should not be limited only to labor or material charges. Our staff is expected to act professionally and courteously, and to always strive to render services that are of great craftsmanship and quality.

Routine Reviews

Quality Assurance also routinely reviews a select number of completed jobs to determine customer satisfaction, appropriate job costing, and work quality. These reviews will usually consist of a simple follow-up phone call, unless significant issues are discovered.
