As Clemson University rises to meet its goal of being a top-20 research institution, the Eugene T. Moore School of Education also strives to obtain top status in its academic programs.

The School of Education offers 9 teacher education undergraduate programs leading to certification: early childhood, elementary, secondary, agricultural, and special education. A minor is offered in athletic leadership and education.

The School of Education offers two MAT programs designed for career changers, a Master of Arts in Teaching in middle level education and a Master of Arts in Teaching in secondary education mathematics and science.

Advanced teacher education master's programs are offered in literacy, special education, and teaching and learning.  Masters degrees are also offered in administration and supervision, agricultural education (in cooperation with the College of Agriculture, Forestry and Life Sciences), human resource development, student affairs, clinical mental health counseling, and school counseling.  An educational specialist degree is offered in administration and supervision and counselor education. Doctoral programs are offered in curriculum and instruction, higher education leadership and P-12 educational leadership.
