Add-On Licensure

The Eugene T. Moore School of Education offers courses that will lead to add-on licensure in: Early Childhood Education, ESOL (K-12) and Middle Level Education. All add-on licensure courses are held at the University Center in Greenville (UCG).

Students must hold a valid SC license (though in some instances course work toward the add-on may begin during initial candidacy). Add-on licensure is administered through the S.C. Department of Education. See: Steps for adding additional areas of licensure. Specific courses that may be needed are listed in the South Carolina Educator Licensure Manual.
