POSITION: Director of the School of Nursing
The School of Nursing at Clemson University is seeking an innovative and visionary leader for a growing academic unit committed to undergraduate and graduate education and partnerships with healthcare providers and national and international health-related organizations. The School has a nationally recognized undergraduate program, master's program, accelerated second degree program, a pioneering iPhD program in Healthcare Genetics, and a newly initiated research partnership with the Greenville Health System, including its Institute for the Advancement of Health Care. These programs and partnerships provide excellent research and instructional opportunities. The School of Nursing has been recognized as a Center of Excellence by the National League for Nursing, the only school of nursing in the state to receive that designation.
Applicants must hold a PhD in nursing and must demonstrate a proven record of scholarship and extramural research funding. The ideal candidate will have significant administrative experience, a strong record of research and teaching, eligibility for appointment at the rank of full professor, and the leadership skills to move the School to the top tier of academic programs. Additionally, the candidate should have the ability to establish strong support from alumni, healthcare providers, foundations, and other funding sources.
