Welcome to the Youth Development Leadership

Preparing Professionals for Best Practices in Positive Youth Development

The Master of Science in Youth Development Leadership Program is designed to equip students with the competencies, knowledge, and skills to help young people develop into healthy, competent, coping, and contributing citizens. The program prepares students to address issues facing youth in context of family and community with an emphasis on positive outcomes through a dynamic learning environment. Weekly synchronous online class time is scheduled in each course.

Congratulations to the Youth Development Leadership 2015 award winners. Winners include, Valerie Smith, Outstanding Graduate Student in the College of HEHD, Lindsay Hicks, Outstanding Graduate Student in the College of HEHD, Myra Gilreath, M.S. Youth Development Leadership Award and Rebekah Wilkes, Outstanding Graduate Student in the College of HEHD (not pictured).
Second Year M.S. Youth Development Leadership students returned to campus for the College of Health, Education, and Human Development Research Forum.   Several M.S. Youth Development Leadership students were recognized at the Awards Ceremony of the College of HEHD Research Forum. Three students received College of HEHD Outstanding Graduate Student Awards.

Clemson Youth Development Leadership Program Ranks Top Of The Class Top Program Ranking

Clemson University is counted among the nation’s top universities for online graduate programs, according to new rankings by GraduatePrograms.com. Clemson is ranked No. 25 in GraduateProgram.com’s Top 50 Online Graduate Programs based on ratings and reviews from graduate students. The rankings encompassed information posted by 60,000 current or recent students from 1,500 graduate programs. It was compiled between fall 2012 and spring 2014. Rankings covered a variety of student topics, such as academic competitiveness, career support, financial aid and quality of network. Read More
