One Wednesday a month, come enjoy music in the lobby of Cooper Library. Students, professors, and local musicians provide a half hour of musical entertainment. Among the groups that have been featured are the CU Classical Guitar Ensemble, Take Note (the Clemson female a cappella ensemble), and the CU Steel Band.
Midweek Music is made possible through the generous support of Dr. Ronald ('64) and Mrs. Gloria Moore ('95).
All recitals take place in the lobby of Cooper Library from 12:30 - 1:00pm and are free and open to the public. Please feel free to bring your lunch.Wednesday, November 12
Note special location: outside, directly in front of the center lobby windows (because of the holiday display inside)
The Clemson Steel Band plays traditional soca and calypso music from Trinidad and Tobago as well as popular favorites.
Directed by Dr. Paul Buyer, the group includes Brett Butler and Stephen Platt (leads), Kyle Sunderman (double seconds), Alex Hollingshad (cellos), Seth Christmus (bass), and Jordan Taylor (drums).
