Table Reservations

Clemson University groups or organizations can reserve one table and two chairs on a first-come, first-served basis, for use on the Bridge in front of Cooper Library. The fee for reservations is as follows:

Approved university group or organization: $10.00.

University Departments: $15.00.

Payments may be made by tigerstripe at the Circulation desk. Payment may be made online by debit or credit card, or by using your checking/savings account. IDO payments from departments are accepted and can be emailed to fmealor@clemson.edu. Print IDO forms can be brought to the Circulation desk. If paying by IDO, please allow extra time for processing. 

To reserve a table, follow these steps:

  1. Get an event registration form at the Cooper Library Security Desk or download and print a registration form.
  2. Bring the completed form to the Security Desk on the 4th floor of Cooper Library.
  3. Pick up tables and chairs on specified day from the Security Desk.
  4. Tables and chairs must be returned by the group on the same day of checkout by 8pm. If they are not returned, or are damaged, the group will be billed a replacement cost of $215.00. By reserving the space, the group assumes responsibility for the tables and chairs.

Groups who only want to reserve space on the Bridge and do not need tables or chairs may do so by following the same procedure minus table reservation fee.. All food sales must be approve by Aramark Campus Services. Contact information for Aramark is listed on the reservation form and is the responsibility of the group obtaining the reservation.

Generally, groups are discouraged from using the lobby for table set-up due to restricted space; however exceptions may be made during times of severe weather or other cases.
