Clemson University is a regionally accredited public institution ( SACSCOC) and is committed to abiding by the regulations and guidelines of the states in which our online students reside. As per federal and state regulation, Clemson’s Office of Online Education is undertaking new initiatives to meet the changing compliance requirements of individual state authorization agencies.
At this time, Clemson is accepting applications from students for enrollment in online coursework in the following states and is actively working to verify authorization for all other states:
Students living on-campus are also able to take online courses through Clemson.

Clemson students residing outside the state of South Carolina who desire to resolve a grievance are encouraged to follow Clemson's complaint procedures.
