The Department of Chemical Engineering at Northeastern University invites applications for a tenure track position. Outstanding candidates at any level of seniority may apply. Research areas of interest include, but are not limited to, those in energy, sustainability, electrochemical engineering, catalysis, nanomaterials, sensors, and atomistic or multiscale modeling. These areas have been identified as strategic areas of growth within the Department to complement existing strengths in materials engineering. Senior-level candidates should have a demonstrated record of interdisciplinary research with national and international collaborations in both academia and industry, and recognition for accomplished and innovative teaching. Outstanding candidates at the assistant professor level will also be considered.
A doctoral degree in chemical engineering or other closely related discipline by the start date is required along with a strong record of scholarly accomplishment.
