Ribbon cutting ceremony planned for Cowley’s downtown Wichita location
Cowley College administrators and members of the Wichita Metro Chamber of Commerce will be on hand for a ribbon cutting ceremony Thursday, September 10 at Cowley College’s downtown Wichita location at 532 South Market. The event, which will feature tours of the facility, will run from 4-6 p.m. with the ribbon cutting ceremony and presentation taking place at 4:30 p.m. read more

Still time to join the Tiger Booster Club
With the fall sports season underway, there is still time to join the Cowley College Tiger Booster Club.
The Tiger Booster Club has six levels of membership that range from $120 to $2,500. TBC members are admitted free to all Tiger sporting events. Orange and Black Club ($1,000) members and Super Boosters ($2,500) will have an opportunity to display their business logo on Cowley College’s new athletic web site. Men’s soccer drops home opener to the Mavericks
Felipe Zanoli’s goal with just under 10 minutes remaining in Wednesday’s game in Arkansas City led the Northern Oklahoma College-Tonkawa men’s soccer team to a 1-0 victory over the Cowley College Tigers. read more
Scholars and donors pack the Wright Room
Tuesday evening, the Cowley College’s Earle N. Wright Community Room played host to over 140 individuals attending the Cowley College Foundations Annual Scholarship Reception. The event, in its fifth year, brings together scholarship recipients with the community members, donors and alumni who donate money to the foundation in support of scholarships. The reception has continued to be a success and is held each year thanks to a generous contribution from the Trust Company of Kansas, which has been the event sponsor from the first year. read more

The August Female Athlete of the Month is tennis player Eva Forneiron and the August Male Athlete of the Month is tennis player McCann Bell.
The September Female Athlete of the Month is volleyball player Logan Porter and the September Male Athlete of the Month is track and field member Sergio Guijo. read more
Cowley Clothing Exchange to take place Oct. 24
Cowley College Education majors will collect items from Sept. 1 through Oct. 23 in advance of the Cowley Clothing Exchange on Oct. 24. Items can be dropped off in the Social Science Department located in the basement of the Brown Center on the main campus in Arkansas City. read more

Cowley College’s Robert Brown Theatre played host to the sixth annual Miss Walnut Valley/Miss Cowley County Scholarship Pageant on Sunday, August 23. The scholarship pageant, which is a preliminary pageant for Miss Kansas and Miss America, was won by Allison VanNahmen, an 18 year old from Spearville, Kansas. read more
