Big games by Fischer and Elliot lift Tigers to 18-6 win at Crowder
Bryce Fischer and Matt Elliot combined to go 9-for-9 with seven runs scored and five runs batted in as the No. 1-ranked Cowley College baseball team defeated Crowder College 18-6 Tuesday in Neosho, MO. read more

Cowley College Music Department to present spring jazz concert
The Cowley College Music Department is proud to feature the Cowley College Singers and Cowley College Jazz Band during its spring jazz concert on Tuesday, April 28. There is no cost to attend the concert which will begin at 7 p.m. in the Robert Brown Theatre. read more

Track and field athletes compete at KU and Tabor
The Cowley College track and field teams competed in two meets over the weekend with the one’s getting into the KU Relays competing on Thursday and Friday in Lawrence, and those that didn’t get into KU along with a few others competing at the Tabor Invitational in Hillsboro on Saturday. read more

Board hears about success of PTK organization
During Cowley College’s Board of Trustees regular monthly meeting held Monday in the McAtee Dining Center, the Board had an opportunity to hear about the school’s Phi Theta Kappa (PTK) organization’s recent attendance at the Phi Theta Kappa International Convention in San Antonio, Texas. Cowley College’s PTK chapter members and advisors received a Distinguished Chapter Award during the Hallmark Awards Gala. read more

Dayne McNutt
Cowley College student Dayne McNutt recently made five smaller boxes to fit inside one large box in the school’s machine shop. The large box was machined on all six sides to create it. This is a school-record for the most boxes without breaking as the previous record was four and it was done with aluminum, while this one was made of pine.

Criminal justice department to host Tracking Day
Are you interested in a new hobby? Do you like the outdoors? Many people are not aware that Cowley County is fortunate enough to have one of the few professional man tracking organizations in the nation. On Friday April 24, Blue Line tracking will be conducting a tracking day hosted by Cowley College’s criminal justice department.  read more
