System-wide “Global Reverse Transfer” agreement negotiated
The Kansas Association of Community College Trustees (KACCT) and the Kansas Independent College Association (KICA) announced the successful negotiation of a global reverse transfer agreement between all eighteen private colleges and all nineteen community colleges. The agreement is expected to significantly boost the number of Kansans who earn at least an associate’s degree, which has been linked to higher lifetime incomes, lower unemployment, better health outcomes, and increased community involvement. read more

Jazz Quintet
The Friends University Faculty Jazz Combo will perform a set in the Cowley College Band Room Friday, March 27 at noon. The Band Room is located at the west end of Galle-Johnson Hall on Arkansas City’s main campus. The quintet is headed up by Friends University Jazz Director, Lisa Hittle, and features four additional Friends faculty members. read more

Men’s tennis stays busy over spring break
