Tiger baseball team tripped up 2-1 in opener at Rose State

Opening the season at Rose State College Wednesday in Midwest City, OK, the Cowley College baseball team had five pitchers combine to allow only three hits and no earned runs. Unfortunately, a pair of Tiger errors and 14 strikeouts at the plate led to a 2-1 defeat. read more

Mulvane Center gives back Big to their community

Mulvane Student Ambassadors served Sloppy Joe’s for lunch and dinner on February 7, 2012 to raise money for Big Brothers/Big Sisters. The Ambassadors, along with students working on their Service Learning Project, got together to host a Bowl For Kid’s Sake event to raise money for Sumner County’s Big Brothers/Big Sisters. read more

Lady Tigers break the century mark in 102-75 win over Coffeyville

Having scored at least 90 points in each of its previous three home games, the Cowley College women's basketball team cracked the century mark in a 102-75 win over Coffeyville Saturday inside W.S. Scott Auditorium. The 102 points were the most points Cowley has scored in a game since the 2003-2004 season. read more

Hanging with the No. 7-ranked Coffeyville Community College Red Ravens for the majority of Saturday's contest in Arkansas City, the Cowley College men's basketball team could not get enough stops on defense down the stretch to pull the upset as Coffeyville held on for a 76-66 win. read more

Cowley to present spring play, The Drowsy Chaperone

Characterized as a musical within a comedy, Cowley College will present the spring play The Drowsy Chaperone March 8-10 in the Robert Brown Theatre. Each show will be performed at 7:30 p.m. and the cost is $8 for adults, $5 for students or $20 for the dinner and show combo offered on Friday and Saturday night. read more
