Concert Choir/Cowley College Singers cap year with brilliant performance
Concert Choir/Cowley College Singers cap year with brilliant performance
Putting the finishing touches on another stellar year, the Cowley College Concert Choir and Cowley College Singers wowed the crowd with a magnificent performance Thursday night in the Robert Brown Theatre.
The evening started with performances from the Concert Choir. Sarah Richardson sang “A Jubilant Song”, while Will Brantley and Joe Lauer sang “Praise His Holy Name”. In between the solo performances, members of the Concert Choir sang “Ave Maria”, “Snowflakes”, and “Lacrymosa”.
The Cowley College Singers then took the stage and sang a variety of songs that had the audience clapping and singing along.
Connie Donatelli, director of the Concert Choir and Cowley College Singers, felt the performance was a good way to end the year.
“I am so proud of what they accomplished this year and this semester,” Donatelli said. ‘I have the best kids.”
Concert Choir Members are: Heather Bailes, Amanda-Marie Black, David Blizard, Rachele Bloyer, Justin Boyle, William Brantley, Elyse Brown, Kyle Chamberland, Brandon Cheney, Kaitlyn Conner, Michelle Coward, Courtney Crain, Sarah Davidson, Jennifer Doyle, Kendra Dunagan, Laura Durham, Tabitha Farley, Sarah Farmer, Brady Flock, Christopher Fuller, Nicki Futhey, Logan Geist, Joey Glenn, Tiffany Glenn, Elva Hall, Nicholas Hammel, Nathan Holcomb, Jennifer Huffman, Joseph Lauer, Chad Law, Holly Lear, Britnee Leighton, Wesley McDonough, Megan Merchant, Shawn Ming, Elizabeth Muntz, Paul Paxson, Mae Beth Pinard, Sarah Richardson, Aubrey Slief, Candace Scott, Cierra Sharp, Alexie Smith, Ashley Stone, Shawn Strack, Amber Street, Elisha Swope, Jeana Wakefield, Katie Ward, Amanda Watson, Trevor Whitsitt.
