Four Cowley instructors approved to serve internships
The Technical Authority recently approved grants submitted by four Cowley College instructors. Technology internships for Cowley College Career and Technical Education Department instructors Brett Butler, Joe Clasen, Jon Pine and Bob Moffatt were approved and are worth $2,000 each for a total of $8,000.
The four instructors will have an opportunity to work in an industry related to their respective fields.
Bruce Crouse, Chair of the Career and Technical Education Department, believes students in the instructors programs will benefit greatly from the faculty working in industry.
“This is a really good opportunity for our instructors to interface with Business and Industry and come away with information to use in the classroom,” Crouse said. “The Career and Technical Education program continues being updated with technology not always used in the class room.”
