- College Classified personnel are eligible for ten days of paid vacation per calendar year. No vacation shall be granted during the first six months of employment. The first year's days of vacation will be prorated from employment month per the following schedule:

- College Directors and staff instructors (staff with year-around classroom /recruiting responsibilities) are eligible for fifteen days of paid vacation per calendar year. - College Classified personnel will receive an additional five days of paid vacation for a total of fifteen (15) days after completing ten years of service. For purposes of calculating years of service, the first anniversary of employment shall be the first January following employment if employment began January – June, and the second January following employment if employment began July-December.
- Vacation pay will be computed on the basis of an employee's regular wage or salary for a comparable work period.
- Terminating employees will be paid for vacation leave on a prorated basis from January 1 to the date of termination. If the number of vacation days taken exceeds the prorated days, the employee will reimburse the College.
- All accrued vacation for a specific year shall be taken by December 31 of that year. However, after completing five years of continuous service, classified employees may carry over five days of unused vacation from one calendar year to the next. After completing one year of continuous service, College Directors may carry over five days of unused vacation from one calendar year to the next. For purposes of calculating years of service, the first anniversary of employment shall be the first January following employment if employment began January –June, and the second January following employment if employment began July-December.
- For Classified Employees attaining Director status while a College employee, vacation days for the year of attainment will be prorated based on days under each system.
