201.00 THE EDUCATIONAL PROGRAM
Cowley County Community College and Area Vocational-Technical School has been established to provide a comprehensive post high school educational program for youth and adults.
Students entering the college are provided advising services to assist them in formulating educational and occupational goals. Courses are then selected by the student from the instructional divisions--general education and occupational education--to attain their objectives. Specific occupational education programs may be completed on campus, in conjunction with other institutions, and/or through work-study arrangements.
Post-secondary youth and adults who have successfully completed an accredited high school program or score at an acceptable level on an entrance examination are regularly accepted for college credit programs. Certain credit programs are available to high school students by agreement with the sending district. Enrollment in the continuing education program is unrestricted.
