Director of Housing

Landon West

Landon West is the Director of Housing.

Originally from Goodland, KS he came to Cowley College on a Baseball Scholarship and graduated with his Associate’s Degree in 2005. Then moved on to Emporia State University to continue his athletics where he graduated with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Recreation with a minor in Coaching in 2007.

Landon met his wife Lory while attending Cowley and she also works for the college as the Director of Admissions. Landon and his wife, Lory, have a daughter named Peighton.

Manager of Kirke W. Dale Dorm

Krista Andereck

Krista Andereck is the manager of Kirke-Dale Dormitory.

Krista is also the Assistant Athletic Trainer for the Tigers.
Krista attended Barton county CC then finished undergrad at the University of Kansas and attended South Dakota state university for grad school.

Manager of William Docking Dorm

Courtney Gougler

Courtney Gougler is the dorm manager of Docking Dormitory.

Courtney is also an Assistant Track and Field Coach for the Tigers.
Gougler is a former Tiger athlete who graduated from Oklahoma State University, where she obtained her B.A in Liberal Studies. Gougler competed for the Tigers for one year then transferred to the University of Wyoming to compete for the Cowgirls Track and Field team. She then transferred to OSU to continue her athletic and academic goals. Gougler is from Glencoe, Oklahoma.

Manager of Oscar Kimmell Dorm

Peggy Williams

Peg Williams is the manager of Oscar Kimmell Dormitory.

She was born and raised in Ark City, attended Cowley when it was “Ark City Juco” and graduated in 1967. Peg came to work for Cowley in 1980 as financial aid and basketball coach secretary. After several years, she went back to college at Southwestern part time and got her teaching degree. She taught in the secretarial science program for 20 years and helped to develop the computer applications class that is still taught today. Peg left teaching and worked in the PEAKS program here at Cowley for six years. She retired in 2007, but worked part-time in the business office. Peg has been so fortunate over the years to be involved in the foster parent program, and she has had over 80 foster kids. They have been wonderful, but once retired she still missed the one-on-one relationship with the students so was so excited to get this opportunity to become a dorm manager. She loves being around this population and hopes they continue to keep her feeling young!

Manager of The Lodge Dorm

Terra Maxey

Terra Maxey is the manager of The Lodge.

She graduated from Ponca City Sr. High in 1990 and attended Northern Oklahoma College. She was employed as a music director for 7 years then went on to be a Social Worker for the elderly. She has 3 little blessings, Timothy, Tiffany, and Trista. She enjoys writing, and singing music along with riding horses with PaPa.

Manager of Storbeck Dorm

Brock Buckingham

Brock Buckingham is the dorm manager of Storbeck.

He returns to Cowley College for a second stint as an assistant baseball coach. Prior to his first coaching stint at Cowley, he served as a student assistant at Arkansas State University. He spent the past four years working in sales in Wichita. Buckingham was a middle infielder for the Cowley baseball team in 1999 and 2000. He then transferred to Arkansas State University, where he played for two years. After graduating from Arkansas State, Buckingham played one year of baseball for the Winnipeg Gold Eyes. Buckingham was also an All-State baseball player and the Southwest Missouri Player of the Year his senior year at McDonald County High School in Anderson, Mo. Along with his coaching duties, Buckingham will also serve as a dorm manager in the Storbeck Dormitory. He and his wife have a son, Briggs.
