Defense-Oriented Operations Research Laboratory

The Defense-Oriented Operations Research (DOOR) Laboratory facilitates the research in the broad area of Operations Research-based techniques in military and related applications. The DOOR lab is based at the University of Florida Research and Engineering Education Facility (UF-REEF) in Shalimar, FL, which is located in close proximity to Eglin Air Force Base (FL). The primary mission of DOOR is to conduct basic research in areas of interest to the U.S. Air Force and other defense agencies.

The DOOR Lab affiliates faculty members and researchers from the University of Florida, AFRL, and other research institutions and universities nationwide. It is directed by Dr. Vladimir L.
