The University of Florida Levin College of Law and EDRM were pleased to host this first-of-its-kind conference. The Conference was held for a day-and-a-half on April 4th and 5th, 2013, at the University of Florida Law School campus and was broadcast live.
In 2012, UF Law hosted high-profile speakers such as Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas and Carol Browner, former senior environment advisor to President Obama. The law school sponsored conferences on taxation, the environment and land use and dedicated the Martin H. Levin Advocacy Center. See what else we did in photos.
In 2011, UF Law showed high-profile sponsored speakers such as retired Justice Sandra Day O’Connor, premier conferences including the Ellen Bellet Gelberg Tax Policy Lecture and expanded its facilities with the Martin H. Levin Advocacy Center courtroom.

2010 was a year full of exciting events that included a visit from Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas and the fifth Gator to serve as President of the American Bar Association, Stephen N. Zack (JD 71). Students learned the law and honed their skills through lectures, speakers and events.
U.S. Supreme Court Associate Justice Clarence Thomas visited the Levin College of Law on Wednesday and Thursday, Feb. 3-4. The focus of his visit was interacting with and meeting students, including a “conversation” as the Marshall Criser Distinguished Lecture on Feb. 4, in the Marcia Whitney Schott Courtyard.

U. S. Supreme Court Associate Justice Sandra Day O’Connor spoke to hundreds of alumni, students, faculty and staff on the UF law campus as the law school celebrated the dedication of newly renovated facilities.
The Chief Justice of the United States visited UF Law and judged the University of Florida Justice Campbell Thornal Moot Court Final Four Competition held at the Phillips Center for the Performing Arts on Sept. 5.
Founder and chairman emeritus of the national law firm Holland & Knight, Chesterfield Smith (1917-2003) was one of the country’s most prominent lawyers, and his name remains one of the most revered in legal circles. U.S. Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg spoke at the dedication of the Chesterfield Smith Ceremonial Classroom.
