The University of Florida/University of Costa Rica Joint Program in Environmental Law is designed to fulfill ABA requirements through a maximum of six credit hours. Any credit or grade for a summer program course is subject to determination by the participant’s institution.
Admission is open to all law and graduate students providing a letter of good standing from the applicant’s law school is submitted with the application. In 2012, there were 7 program participants from UF and 6 students from other ABA-approved Law schools. For transfer of credits, students engaging in foreign study must have completed their first full year, or its part-time equivalent, at an ABA-approved law school.
Enrollment is typically limited to 20 students.
