Graduate Tax Program Announcements

The University of Florida Levin College of Law’s Graduate Tax Program continues to be one the nation’s finest, ranked No. 2 in the country by U.S. News & World Report and No. 1 among public universities. An important component to providing students with a well-rounded experience at UF Law is exposing them to a broad array of speakers, covering every angle of the tax field. Below, you will find a list of the broad-ranging events and special guests the Graduate Tax Program in the upcoming months.

Ellen Bellet Gelberg Tax Policy Lecture

The Ellen Bellet Gelberg Tax Policy Lecture Series is an endowed lecture series that examines tax policy and how its implementation affects the economy and people’s lives. Gelberg, who holds a J.D. and LL.M. in Taxation from UF Law, established the lecture series to bring distinguished lecturers to the college each year to speak on tax policy topics to students and faculty, and provide a special opportunity for reflection on the policies supporting the U.S. tax structure.

Presented by the Florida Tax Education Foundation and co-sponsored by the University of Florida Graduate Tax Program, the three day conference program features a day and a half devoted to business and individual taxation and an additional day and a half devoted to tax estate planning. The conference has been developed for attorneys, accountants, trust officers, insurance and financial planners, and planned giving professionals from across Florida and the United States.
