Applicant Status Online (ASO) »

You will need your LSAC-generated username and password to log on. The Admissions Office will email you your username and password a few days after you submit your application.

Welcome to UF Law’s Applicant Status Online (ASO).

Applicant Status Online(ASO) allows applicants to check their application status throughout the admissions process. This site allows applicants to view their current application status and the receipt of materials such as the resume, admissions statement, and letters of recommendation. Applicants can view their current contact information and also read announcements from UF Law Admissions.

Within five business days after submission of the online application, the Levin College of Law will send two emails, one acknowledging receipt of the application and another including instructions on how to access ASO.

To ensure receipt of all notifications from UF Law, please contact with any updates to your email or mailing addresses.

ASO Key Terms

These are the statuses that UF Law uses in the ASO:

Application Received: The application was received and Admissions is currently verifying documents.

Processing Application and Documents: The application was either recently received and is being processed or is missing required items. This status will change when all of the required items are received and processed.

All Required Documents Received: All required documents have been received and the application will soon be reviewed.

Under Initial Review by Committee: The file is complete and the Admissions Committee is currently evaluating the file.

Comparative Review in Progress: The Committee has reviewed the file; however, a decision has not yet been made on the file. The file will continue to be evaluated as other applications are received. Applicants who have updates to their files such as transcripts and LSAT scores will be re-evaluated by the Admissions Committee based on the new information.
