Assisting Current, Future Students
The Law Alumni Council has launched an ambitious campaign to increase alumni participation in supporting UF law students, faculty, programs and services.
Renewed Law Firm Giving Program
Firms with multiple Gators that achieve 100 percent participation in supporting the law school will be recognized.
The council will promote the college’s CLE offerings, conferences, and faculty speaking engagements to organizations to help increase visibility of the law school and faculty.
Graduating Class Gifts
Coordinated by third-year student members of the council, this revived tradition encourages presentation of a Class Gift at commencement. Students may give or pledge to any area of the law school or to any student organization.
Book Award Sponsorship
Emphasis is on increasing the number of JD and LLMT course sponsorships to provide essential funds and reward outstanding student academic achievement.
The Council, founded in 1983, and Law Center Association Inc. Board of Trustees, founded in 1960, are the primary support and advisory boards for the law school. Both assist with raising private funds to cover expenses not met through state support, tuition or endowment income.
