Assistant Dean for Career Development
Rob oversees the on campus interviewing program and assists students interested in working for large firms or pursuing environmental law careers. Rob is the liaison to the Alumni Affairs office and works on initiatives to help connect alumni and students. He is a member of the Florida Bar, serves on the Board of Directors for both the Eighth Judicial Circuit Bar Association and the North Central Florida Chapter of the Federal Bar Association, and sits on the Eighth Judicial Circuit Grievance Committee. Prior to joining UF, he practiced law in Tampa with a focus on environmental (water resource) law and taught as an adjunct professor. Rob earned his B.A. in Government and World Affairs from the University of Tampa (magna cum laude) and his J.D. from the University of Florida Levin College of Law (cum laude).LoriLittle
Director for Career Development
Lori oversees the development and presentation of programs relevant to private practice and professionalism, including the coordination of events and panels to provide students with the opportunity to be heard and to meet with practicing attorneys. She also provides a series of workshops for students on drafting resumes and letters, interviewing skills and networking. Lori is a member of the Florida Bar and a certified circuit-civil mediator. She graduated magna cum laude from the University of Florida, earning a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science with a Minor in Business Administration, and graduated cum laude from the UF Levin College of Law. Before joining the Center for Career Development, Lori worked as an associate for a firm representing insurance companies and businesses in workers’ compensation cases. Prior to joining the UF Levin College of Law, she started a general practice and mediation law firm, representing clients in contractual and business disputes. Lori also represented children as a Guardian Ad Litem attorney.

Arlene oversees the Judicial Clerkship program and assists students interested in working in the government or public interest sectors. She is a member of the Florida Bar and a certified circuit civil mediator. Arlene graduated from the Faculty Scholars Program at Florida Atlantic University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science and earned her Juris Doctor from the University of Florida Levin College of Law. She worked in legal aid for many years. More recently, Arlene worked in court administration as the Family and Civil Court Manager for the Eighth Judicial Circuit.

Karen provides career counseling to graduating students and alumni as well as those interested in New York and Washington, D.C. opportunities. Karen graduated from New York University and New York Law School. She retired from the City of New York after thirty years of practice in consumer affairs and most recently served as a part-time career counselor for New York Law School.
