Gordon Assists in Mexico

Published: October 22nd, 2001

Category: News Briefs

Professor Michael Gordon lectured on international business issues with Mexico at a meeting of the ABA International Law Section in Monterrey, Mexico, Oct. 11. He was appointed to the Section’s Long-Range Planning Committee and a committee on establishing the first ABA visit to Cuba. He was invited to Monterrey Tech to meet with the dean and faculty, and sign copies of his Comparative Legal Traditions, NAFTA and IBT casebooks (all used at the school). Monterrey Tech law faculty teach students at dozens of locations in the Americas, as far distant as Santiago and Brasilia. Gordon assisted in an evaluation of the law school, using standards similar to those applied by the ABA for U.S. law schools.
