Stephen C. O’Connell Professor/Center on Children and the Law Associate Director Christopher Slobogin published the 2003 Supplement to Criminal Procedure: An Analysis of Cases and Concepts (4th ed., with Charles Whitebread). He presented “Defining Mental Illness in Terms of Content and Process” and “Problem- Solving Courts: A Critique” at the second International Psychology & Law Conference in Edinburgh, Scotland, in July, and was quoted in the National Law Journal about the implications of the Supreme Court’s decision limiting forcible medication of criminal defendants who are mentally ill.
